BIW fixtures are the locating devices which are used to locate body in white parts in the automotive industry during welding process. BIW fixtures help in holding or clamping the car parts which has to be welded and locating the weld parts accordingly. Fixtures are fixed in a base plate and then clamps are operated either manually using toggle clamp or actuated using pnuematic cylinders.
