In this video tutorial shell type heat exchanger is numerically solved using transient solver pimple foam available in OPENFOAM software. Some assumptions are considered in this video tutorial like single phase fluid is used, tubes are exclude from simulation etc. This video tutorial is only for introduction purpose for engineering students.
