Cad model source Abhishek devanal profile , source is DesignGyan FE model generated from CAD in Hypermesh Nastran solver used for meshing (preprocessing ) and optistruct solver used to run the analysis ( processing) and results are viewed in hyperview ( post processing) 2D and 3D meshing is been done and connection between components is done by rigid 1D elements ( RBE2 elements) Loading region and boundary condition is shown in the images as well as details are given in the report . This jib crane is checked for two I sections 1. 175*85*7.5 mm 2. 150*75*7.5 mm As you can observe from results stress value for 175*85 mm flange has increased by 2 mpa compared to 150*75 mm flange reason being increase in cross sectional area , Both the models are checked for 200 kg load , results and cae files are added for you reference
